Tareq travels around the Nordic countries to meet local food producers. He heads off the tourist track to experience local cultures through their food, meeting extraordinary people and preparing his own versions of delicious recipes along the way.
West Sweden
Situated on the west coast of Sweden, Bohuslän is a place where you can really feel the history of fishing all around a tradition that is still active. Tareq will be harvesting supreme quality oysters and lobsters and cook some wonderful seafood dishes.
Florø
Tareq visits Norway and Florø to celebrate their national day -17th of May. Surrounded by breathtaking archipelagos and stunning fjords he dives for scallops in the north sea, cooking at mountain peaks and exploring the history of norwegian salmon
Estonia
Tareq makes his way across the baltic sea to Estonia and the capital Tallinn. He discovers the historical treasures of the city and its thriving culinary life before he heads out into the vast and beautiful countryside and the national park of Soomaa.
Ringkøbing
Ringkøbing, a lovely old market town located at the west coast of Denmark. Here, Tareq visit a traditional Herring Festival and meets up with local entrepreneurs who have learned to adapt to this ever-changing environment.
Falkenberg
Something is definitely happening in Falkenberg on the west coast of Sweden. Over the last couple of years it have become somewhat of a haven for foodies. Tareq is on a mission; taking him through a fertile landscape with vineyards and salmon fishing.
Estonia (Part 2)
Estonia has embarked on a journey greatly inspired by the nordic cuisine. Tareq explores the countryside of Estonia before he returns to the capital of Tallinn where he meets people that really love their traditional food.
Öland

In the northern part of Sweden, you’ll find the stunning world heritage Laponia. Almost 10.000 square kilometres of nature reserves and national parks. Tareq visit the rich, unique culture of the sami in the vast impressive wilderness.
Malmö & Copenhagen
Tareq Taylor returns to his home turf to see what has happened and what the future might bring to the new nordic cuisine. He visits a local goat farmer and meets up with young enthusiastic chefs who takes this nordic legacy further.
