Wildfire follows 18-year-old Kris Furillo who, after serving time at a teen detention center, is given the opportunity to start a new life training horses on the Ritter's family ranch.
Kris is distracted by the return of her rival, Tina Sharp (Amy Jo Johnson), who is tapped to ride a Raintree boarder's horse that used to belong to the Davis ranch.
