When a routine underwater vehicle recovery turns fatal, secrets are revealed that place the future of the task force in jeopardy.

The task force turns attention towards locating a missing woman. To solve the case, the Roughies must shake down some modern pirates.

Jane responds to a distress call only to watch as a woman drowns after her boat sinks. The recovery of the boat leads to a surprising discovery, further leading the Roughies to a poaching operation.

The Roughies take on a ring of people smugglers and pedophiles but, in the process, take a hit themselves.

Ron rallies the troops to support Jane as they deal with the fallout from her actions in pursuit of David Chambers.

Problems between Jane and Danny erupt when Danny’s old girlfriend turns up on the run from police corruption in Melbourne.

In a move that will put him offside with the New Zealand police, Danny breaks ranks with the Roughies to seek vengeance for Jane.

Busting a major Paua smuggling ring drags Danny and Noel up the coast, but Danny's thirst for revenge is putting the lives of his friends at risk.

Danny suspects sabotage in a fishing village and believes locals are involved in the coastal poaching ring. But the tide turns when an attempt is made on the life of one of the Roughies.

Chloe's godson is at the center of a drug investigation, but his unwillingness to trust the police leads to a fatal outcome. Meanwhile, Zack and Donna begin their first round of IVF.

Chloe seeks revenge on Leo Sullivan and his family for the amphetamine-fuelled destruction that they have brought into her life.

On the trail of a psychopathic killer, the Roughies are dragged through a web of deception by a lying lawyer and the politics of government agencies.
