Getting pinched, stuck in the muck, and keeping the crew from stealing bites of lobster are just a few of the challenges Chef Joe Gatto encounters on his quest to have the Classic New England Clambake cooked in an earth oven on the beach.

Chef Joe Gatto makes one of his all-time favorite dishes, but starts with hand forging steel into a custom chef’s knife. He gets a lesson in breaking down a whole hog. Ending with a fiesta for the ages! A Piñata party with epic from scratch Tamales!

Hotdogs and Hamburgers,

Chef Joe Gatto makes the best hot dog in the history of hotdogs while making his own burger grind with homemade bacon. Even the condiments are handmade with produce from Fenway farms. They serve these epic dogs and burgers at the Stoneham Farmers Market!

Chef Joe Gatto bakes a loaf with his mom and daughter using the kitchen he grew up cooking in. Then, the “Cheese Queen” is Chef ‘s special guest who shows him everything about making cheese. After smoking pastrami Joe and the family have an epic picnic!

Chef Joe Gatto gets crazy at Rising Tide Brewery to start off this Pizza From Scratch spectacular. Chef Joe gets up close and personal with a cow to get the ingredients for a great mozzarella cheese. It ends with a block party in Portland Maine!
