Maude hires an English housekeeper who arrives on the day of the charity party for 'women's rights,' but within hours Maude is trying to fire her.

Vivian's Party,

Arthur has put his wife in a state of shock by telling her he's invited six couples over for dinner but Maude takes over with a flourish -- after all, what are friends for?

Walter's Dream,

Walter returns home from his annual fishing trip convinced that he and Maude should sell the house and the appliance store and move to the Canadian wilderness.

Walter's Heart Attack,

What happens when a married man has a heart attack at one o'clock in the morning in a young girl's apartment? Walter's biggest problem is not surviving the heart attack but surviving Maude learning the truth.

Maude Meets The Duke,

Maude gets contrary and is ready to mow down 'The Duke' with a verbal barrage when he stops in Tuckahoe to publicize a movie. John Wayne, playing himself, plans to have lunch in the home of his number-one fan -- Dr. Arthur Harmon.

Lovers In Common,

An affectionate postcard from an old boyfriend rekindles a flame in Maude's heart -- until she learns Vivian received a similar card from the same man.

Walter and Arthur go off on a fishing trip and land in jail while Maude and Vivian stay home and go on an eating binge. Furious at their husbands for leaving them alone, Maude and Vivian go off their diets with a vengeance.

A Night To Remember,

Maude and Walter are having a sleepless night. The snowstorm which may ruin Walter's annual sale at the appliance store seems important until Maude admits her insomnia is due to her doctor's advice that she have a hysterectomy.

Maude, The Boss,

With the weight of the women's lib movement resting squarely on her shoulders, Maude takes up her duties as manager over three men in a real estate office.

Last Tango In Tuckahoe,

After hearing a man's laughter in the middle of the night, Maude accuses Carol of sneaking a man into her room. After Carol angrily, but regretfully, denies the accusation, Maude's suspicions focus on that 'feisty old biddy,' Mrs. Naugatuck.

Maude's New Friend,

Maude is spending every spare minute with a handsome, best-selling author and Walter resents it. Walter thinks Barry Witherspoon is a pompous bore, regardless of his sexual preferences, but Maude defends him and accuses Walter of bigotry.

Maude and Walter are ecstatic. Walter's ex-wife, Marta, plans to remarry and the alimony monkey will be off his back. There's a flag on the play, however, when Maude meets Marta and learns the identity of the intended bridegroom.

All Psyched Out,

A famed psychic predicts four things will happen to Maude -- the fourth prediction being that she will marry a fifth time. At first, Maude scoffs at the predictions, but then begins to worry when the first three come true.

Nostalgia Party,

Would you believe Maude as the college campus queen doing a striptease? That's what happens when Maude gives a New Year's Eve party and insists the guests come dressed as their favorite year.

The Findlays and their friends rejoin the world of 'showbiz' when Tuckahoe's Gallbladder Foundation enlists Maude to produce their charity telethon.

And Then There Were None,

Carol's in love and Maude couldn't be happier -- until she learns Carol's 'intended' already has a wife and she happens to be one of Maude's oldest friends.

The Emergence Of Vivian,

Maude recruits Vivian into women's liberation and possible out of her marriage. Arthur takes a dim view of anything that might keep Vivian away from her 'daily chores' and warns her that her 'revolutionary' attitude may be destroying their marriage.

Mrs. Naugatuck In Love,

Mrs. Naugatuck's strange behavior worries the Findlays until she tells them she's in love and plans to get married. Maude plans a surprise bridal shower for Mrs. Naugatuck, but there's an even bigger surprise in store for everyone.

Walter's Pride,

What price pride? Even though bankruptcy is breathing down Walter's neck, he'd rather lose his business than allow Maude to mortgage the house -- which is in her name.

Walter Gets Religion,

Maude suspects Walter's newly-acquired devotion to the church is based on something other than true religious fervor. And, needless to say, Walter's in big trouble when Maude finds out the real reason for Walter's sudden passion for religion.

Maude feels the romance has gone out of her marriage; her problem now is convince Walter to do something about it. Maude's sure a weekend with Walter at a mountain cabin would be the perfect setting to rekindle their fire.

Maude's Mother,

Maude's mother pays a rare visit, transforming Maude into a quivering mass of guilt and insecurity. Wanting her mother to approve of Walter, whom she has never met, Maude over-reacts, putting the entire household into a state of hysteria.
