Needle in a Haystack,

When a fisherman goes missing, USCG Air Station Miami is tasked with the impossible; finding a 14-foot boat in a vast Atlantic Ocean. In the Pacific, the USCG Cutter Munro and Tactical Law Enforcement team members track down suspected drug smugglers.

Smugglers try to evade US counter narcotics intelligence, but darkness doesn't stop the USCG Cutter Munro and TACLET team members. In Oregon, high tides trap two hikers, and in the Florida Keys, rescuers search for a man reported struggling in the water.

Air Station Miami performs their annual wet drills, an intense training exercise that prepares flight crews to survive if their aircraft has an accident at sea. Then a look back at some of the season's cases, and the loss of one of their own.
