On April 26th, 1945 a SS convoy with special prisoners and prisoners of kin of leaves the KZ Dachau. 139 people from all over Europe and a high value for the Nazis. Aristocrats, clerics, high military and political cadres - among them the families of the Hitler conspirators. The hostages experience six days between liberty and death. Without contact to their headquarters the SS officers in charge are at odds with their plans: shoot everyone immediately or make contact with the Americans after all? Uncertainty and tension become the ideal breeding ground for irrational decision - on both sides. The situation heats up dramatically. To survive the hostages must band together. A clever ploy turns the tables: the prisoners send out a call for help - suddenly soldiers of the SS and the Wehrmacht face off weapons at ready.
