Ten year old Jimmy is afraid to sleep in the dark, -- almost as much as he's afraid of the mean old lady at the variety store, the Mongrel that chases him home every day, and the bully who constantly torments him. Jimmy's only solace is his nightly readings of the "Avenging Phantom" comic books. And when Jimmy wishes that he had a protector to take revenge on all of his enemies...his wish comes true. Jimmy must now face his ultimate fear in order to reverse his wish and stop the cycle of the Avenging Phantom. / While digging in Greece, a greedy Fortune Hunter searches out the ancient cave ruins of the Greek legend Medusa. Although a young village girl named Zola tries to convince the Hunter that Medusa is merely a myth, the Fortune Hunter is relentless in his hunt for treasure. Left alone to dig, he finds a golden shield but must now face the consequences of stealing as he comes face to face with the legendary Medusa.

When Nathan's fast talking Manager Marvin sets up a big time match with an unknown challenger who promises to put Nathan on Easy Street, younger brother Erin knows it's too good to be true. With no other choice but to watch out for his big brother, Erin follows Nathan and Marvin to an abandoned stadium where Nathan meets his challenger and is horrified to discover the stakes are higher than he imagined.

Growing Pains

Hunted
A greedy Hunter sets his sights in the deepest foliage of the Amazon Jungle recklessly trapping as many animals as he can, prepared to sell them to the highest bidders. The youngest boy of the local tribe, "the kid", tells the tale of Onnaya, warning the Hunter of the beast that changes form. The Hunter scoffs at the ridiculous legend. Later that night, the Hunter is awakened to find his entire trappings freed, the grounds destroyed, and dangerous looking claw marks all over the trees. Furious, the Hunter vows revenge and wants to hunt down the beast Onnaya -- regardless of the danger involved. He perseveres... only to realise that he is no longer Hunter... but the hunted.
Chuck (and Melvin) and the Beanstalker
Questing through the dark, thick "dangerous" forest on a dire search for food, our starving brothers Chuck and Melvin come across an eerie Trading Post where they trade off Chuck's beloved horse Splendour for a bag of magic beans. Although the beans don't taste very good, they sure work their magic overnight by producing a gigantic beanstalk reaching far into the sky. Melvin and Chuck climb the beanstalk, fighting off all kinds of imminent danger with the hopes of retrieving the legendary golden harp; a wealth sufficient to provide them with a lifetime of food. However, once they reach their destination they come face to face with a magnitude of horrors; all of "gigantic" proportions including a Giant with a giant surprise.
