The days have been very hot and dry in Cuddlestown and everyone wants some rain. The Bananas find Bernard down at the lake. He tells them that he’s waiting for the Snippys to arrive. They’re coming to “take over the lake” and “eat everything they can”

Morgan surprises the Bananas one morning with a roar. As Rat cleans out his shop he’s delighted to find his old golf clubs. When the Bananas ask him what golf is, Rat ‘s only too happy to show them and begins playing a game.

Amy is reading a very exciting story to the Bananas, Morgan and Lulu. It’s about a little penguin lost in a snowstorm and everyone wants to know if his mother can find him and save him from the storm. The Bananas and the Teddies rush to see Rat because he has an important announcement. Once they get to his shop, Rat proudly tells them that he has a dream. A wonderful dream.

Rat is very excited – he’s just received a postcard telling him his mother is coming for her summer visit and he can’t wait to see her. It’s Christmas time and everyone is helping to decorate the Cuddlestown Christmas tree in the park.

The Bananas discover lots of holes have suddenly appeared in the park. Who could have dug them and why? This is a case for the Banana Detectives! B1 and B2 decide they’ll try and find the answers to this puzzle and so they start looking for clues. Rat’s hat is accidentally damaged and Rat is in despair. How can he be “Rat in the Hat” if he has no hat!? The Bananas and the Teddies don’t like to see their friend upset so they quickly try to find him a new hat.

Rat is worried. He wants more customers in his shop so he decides he must find a way to attract more visitors to Cuddlestown. When the Bananas are in the park they are surprised to discover Morgan practising magic tricks.

The Bananas are helping Bernard put up an old swing in his yard when Bernard suggests they have some lunch. Banana-tastic! The Bananas are very excited. They’re going to look after Peck’s ducklings for the day and they can’t wait to be ‘The Baby Sitting Bananas.

Loud echoes are heard all over Cuddlestown. Who could be making such noises? The Bananas of course! B1 and B2 have found a cave up on a hill overlooking the town and discovered that if they yell loud enough, their voices can be heard for miles around. Pedro the pig is unhappy. Every day he plays in the same old mud and he’s starting to find it boring. If only he could find some new mud – then he could have some real fun.

The Bananas and Teddies are picking some watermelons when they stop to try one. Charlie isn’t his usual self. His latest invention doesn’t work properly and even worse – he can’t think of any new inventions to make.

When Rat is out walking he bumps into the Bananas and is delighted to see them. He’s even more delighted to see the delicious looking jellies they carry and begs the Bananas to give him one. When Rat discovers a large egg outside his shop, he wonders what he should do with it.

An excited Rat runs to the Bananas and Teddies with incredible news. He’s found an old letter from his Great, Great, Uncle Nat the Rat. While the Bananas wait for Charlie to return home and show them his newest inventions, they are amazed to see a honey cake floating in a jar.

The Bananas love to help Charlie with his inventions. They tell him that sometimes they wish they could also invent things themselves. It’s cherry season and the Bananas, the Teddies and Topsy are picking cherries from Bernard’s tree.

The Bananas make a new paper aeroplane that flies beautifully. In fact, it flies all over Cuddlestown and causes trouble wherever it goes. The Bananas, Rat, and Topsy are playing a game on the beach when Rat and Topsy find a pretty shell.

When Morgan’s at Rat’s shop he sees some new books about his hero, ‘Super Bear’. Alas, he doesn’t have enough honey cakes to be able to buy one. When the Bananas hear about the problem they decide to help. Rat is reading a comic book to the Bananas when they spot a picture of a submarine in it. Rat explains that the picture is part of an advertisement where you can buy a submarine.

The Bananas are happily making a new jug of lemonade when they accidentally drop a smelly old kitchen sponge into it. When Charlie sees the Bananas struggling to carry some groceries home, he decides to help them out. He invents a car for them – the Banana Buggy.

Rat has a problem. His special napping chair needs repair and his attempts to fix it keep failing. The Bananas discover a lost puppy and decide they should look after it while they try to find its owner.

Rat is daydreaming of becoming a great explorer when he is surprised by a visit from his mother. The Bananas and Morgan are stargazing one night when they come up with the idea of building a new cubby house.

The Teddies’ cousin, Leah, is going into hospital to have her tonsils removed. So the Teddies and Bananas decide to record a “get-well-soon” song to send to the hospital and help cheer her up. Morgan tells the Bananas about a competition he’s entering. All he has to do is find a Golden Jelly Bub in a packet of jelly and he’ll win a prize!

Topsy is hopping home when the Bananas call out to her. They have a gift for her – a plate of honey cakes. Topsy thanks them and tells the Bananas that they’re her favourite friends. Bernard has been away on a trip and is coming back home today. While he was away, the Bananas had agreed to do something for him. But they can’t remember what it was.

Dolly has a new fancy hat. She shows it off to the Bananas and Teddies and they love it. Camembert sees the attention that Dolly is getting and soon gets her own new fancy hat. Everyone loves it, too. When Rat comes down with a heavy cold, the Bananas step in and do what they always do – they help! Urging Rat to go back to bed, B1 and B2 say they’ll be happy to look after his shop for him until he gets better.

The Cuddlestown Flower Day is coming! The Bananas, the Teddies, Bernard and Topsy all plant seeds to grow flowers for the occasion. The Bananas have a busy day ahead. They’ve got things to do for Rat, then Bernard, then the Teddies. They wonder how they can do everything in one day.

Rat loves his collection of old cheese but everyone else in Cuddlestown finds it very smelly. Rat can’t sense the problem. He thinks his old cheese has a beautiful perfume. Banana-tastic! The Bananas are amazed by Charlie’s latest invention – a super bouncy ball that never seems to stop bouncing.

Oh no! The Bananas forgot that the Cuddlestown Dance Party is tonight. They want to make up a new dance to show everyone at the party so they’re going to have to work on it very quickly. Amy has a pen-pal called Lee who sends her great letters about all the interesting things he does. Amy really enjoys reading these letters but she finds it very hard to write back to Lee and tell him about anything interesting that she does.

The Bananas’ noisy play upsets Rat while he is trying to take a nap. He wants to get the Bananas to be quiet but how can he do it? He tells the Bananas about a new game that he calls, “Opposite”. One morning, Rat is admiring a picture of the famous painting “The Mona Rata”. The Bananas come along and say they think the painting is Banana-tastic. They wish they could paint like that.

The Bananas are very excited. They’re going to join Pedro and play the piggies in a play of “The Three Little Pigs”. Everyone in Cuddlestown will be coming to see it. It’s going to be Pyjama-riffic! Rat is in the park one morning when a jelly drops down and hits him on the head. Then another! And another! When Rat looks around he sees he’s near the fountain and that’s where the jellies must be coming from. Amazing!

The Bananas are riding their scooter through Cuddlestown and pull up at Rat’s shop. Rat inspects the scooter and tells them that it looks very shabby. The Bananas are unhappy. They wish their scooter could look better. The Bananas and Teddies are having breakfast when Morgan introduces a new friend to them. His name is Pippy and he’s quite normal except for one thing – he’s invisible! Amy and Lulu are very suspicious but the Bananas think Pippy is great.
