Quentin's nightmares about Kortan haunt him to the point that he decides to journey to Moganda during the night.

Ramirez and Quentin find a satellite station run by Shepherd, who blames himself for an error that resulted in the Great Catastrophe. He never joined the Jettators out of shame, and he stays hidden when they arrive.

The Price of Freedom
Quentin complains about the lack of freedom to play, and Ramirez decides to take him to a run-down city controlled by gangs of children to show him how young people live in this desolate age.

The Treasure in the Sand
The bureaucrats have discovered the creation of a new city by renegade Hunter 451, and Arak is sent in to take it out.

Quentin discovers an underwater city built by the oceanography Jettator Orane.

The Secret Prison
Quentin, Ramirez, and Clyde find themselves in a booby trap-filled labyrinth where prisoners are held and worship The Almighty K, aka mechanized totems with the head of Kortan on them.

Dead Ringer
A trap for Quentin and Ramirez apparently fails. Later Ramirez behaves out of character.

Orion's Reign
Terrorists attack Moganda in the name of Orion. Ramirez wants Quentin to learn about astronomy, so they journey to find the Jettator Cornell.

Rage of the Hurricane
MacLeod and Ramirez see that the Hunters are moving in to attack the Hurricanes, a secret cult that gathers natural electricity during thunderstorms.

Oblivion
Kortan becomes fed up with Malone, and chooses the recently captured Neil Dundee to be his new human key.

Lord for a Day
The Jettator Volta is captured by the Hunters, and Ramirez and Quentin hatch a plan to free him.

The Siege of the Dundees
Quentin warns Glenn and Neil of oncoming Hunters, and the Dundees set up defenses.

The Blood of My Enemy
Arak mortally wounds Asklepios in an attempt on Ramirez's life. Fellow bureaucrat Valka begs Kortan to help him, but he denies her requests.

Ramirez takes out bureaucratic spies, giving Arak something to use against Asklepios.

The Survivors from Outer Space
A group of astronauts awakes from hypersleep and crashes on Earth after being gone for 7 centuries. Emerson, an immortal who knew Kortan, betrays the rest to take credit for their discovery.

King of the Ants
Ramirez and Quentin hide from the Hunters in an abandoned city.

Eagle Valley
Quentin and Ramirez visit a village that was victimized by a Hunters slave raid.

Isale of Grans
Quentin & Co. are on a hovercraft over the snow, escaping from Arak's forces, when they find an island of forest amongst the ice.

The Revenge of the Shantytown
Ramirez takes Quentin to receive the Quickening of the entomology Jettator Mahata.

Trick of the Light
Quentin and Ramirez find a holographic projection of Kortan in a temple

The Double
An immortal comes for Quentin's head while he is asleep in a crashed plane, and they engage in a swordfight.

Cult of the Immortal
A cult in a mining village prepares to sacrifice its children to The Immortal, a stone face that resembles Quentin.

Playing with Fire
On the run from the Hunters, Ramirez and Quentin catapult a rope across a waterfall to get across the ravine, but Ramirez falls into the water in the process.

Matsuda
A figure in black breaks into Moganda to kill Kortan. Kortan discovers the challenger to be a cyborg.

Ice Dwellers
An ancient missile base is made operational and controlled by Kortan.
