Animal River Challenge
Filmmaker and biologist Rainer Bergomaz forges his way into the rainforest of Guyana in search of rare species of animals and hits the jackpot: the harpy eagle and the black caiman. Follow Bergomaz as he captures these rare animals and more on film.
Day of the Cayman
Unblinking red eyes glide along the silent black surface of the tropical river like faintly glowing embers in the dusk. Up to seven meters long and weighing more than one ton, the black caiman is one of the largest predators in the Americas.
Eye of the Eagle
An alarm call goes out and monkeys of all types throw themselves off branches and out of trees to hide in terror. Overhead a giant eagle easily twists and turns through the treetops, hunting for any animal caught out in the open; the Harpy eagle hunts.
