Harmon "Harm" Rabb Jr. is a former pilot turned lawyer working for the military's JAG ( Judge Advocate General) division. He works closely with Lt. Col. Saraj Mackenzie, and together they do what needs to be done to find the truth.
Shifting Sands
When a Gulf War MIA victim is found as the sheik’s wife in a nomadic Arab tribe, Bud prosecutes and Mac defends her against charges of desertion and, in a stunning turn of events, treason. Harm tries to get his old job back but is turned away.
The One That Got Away
Mac defends and Turner prosecutes in the case of a special op marine who, during an Iraqi mission, may have deserted his team for his own survival. Harm takes on a CIA training assignment in a mach six craft that soon has him in danger.
Close Quarters
Back at JAG, Harm is flooded with cases but still wants to help out an 80-year-old veteran accused of robbery. Meanwhile, Turner takes on an assignment in a sub whose crew has rescued possible defecting North Koreans.

Harm and Mac argue the case of a Marine pilot who used force to interfere with a local police matter that led to a man’s killing. Roberts is the investigating officer in the matter of a Navy doctor who is requesting conscientious objector status.

When an unwitting corporal boasts to a reporter that he killed an Iraqi prisoner of war, facts begin to emerge that could convict him despite his later claim that he was only lying toi mpress.

Harm and Mac go aboard the USS Gillcrist to determine if a seaman’s fatal accident during a routine repair was the result of a co-worker’s dereliction of duty or worse.
Good Intentions
Mac defends a petty officer and former alcoholic accused of a brutal murder after a drinking binge which renders him useless in remembering details that could help him. Roberts is entangled in the case of a Navy Commander accused of embezzling funds.
People vs SECNAV
After an incident in Iraq claims the lives of innocent civilians, SecNav is brought up on charges of war crimes in International Court, and Harm and Mac must defend him. Meanwhile, during a trip to the arcade, little A.J. goes missing.
Hard Time
Mac must accompany a prisoner who once assaulted her across the country while Harm and Bud delve into the case of an HIV-infected fleet officer who, after having his condition revealed and relegated to inactive duty, wants his old job back.
Fighting Words
A general’s comments about Islam during a church service pit Harm and Mac against each other as a court-martial hearing examines whether those remarks were a danger to national security.
