Episode 1
It's Christmas Eve and as Amelia and Arthur Havisham gather to hear the reading of their father's will their lives are left in turmoil by the unexpected contents. Elsewhere, a young boy makes a macabre discovery in an alleyway.
Episode 2
Bucket goes to see his old enemy Fagin convinced he is involved in some way. Later, at the Havisham New Year's Party, Amelia is delighted to see her brother but perturbed by the arrival of an uninvited guest.
Episode 3
Compeyson goes to desperate lengths to make Miss Havisham notice him and Martha Cratchit's wedding plans are thrown into turmoil as Bob Cratchit fights to clear his name and get home in time for his daughter's wedding.
Episode 4
A potential rival at Satis House gives Compeyson cause for concern. When a drunk prank goes dangerously wrong, Arthur realizes the lengths to which Compeyson will go to achieve his aims.
Episode 5
Already facing financial ruin, Edward Barbary's situation deteriorates when Scrooge demands he repay his loan. Devastated by the loss of Jip, Amelia is comforted and surprised when Compeyson arrives with a present and a declaration.
Episode 6
Honoria faces up to the reality of her father's situation - will she throw everything away to save him? Meanwhile, Bucket's patience is finally rewarded.
Episode 7
Honoria comes to terms with letting Hawdon go and is stunned to learn of Amelia's engagement to Compeyson. A surprising discovery shocks the Barbary family and Bucket searches for reasons to keep Fagin in prison. Later, Bucket resumes his hunt for Dodger.
Episode 8
Bucket's detective skills are called into question when another body is discovered and a new Inspector joins the force. Hawdon goes for a promotion but makes a discovery about Frances which leaves Honoria devastated.
Episode 9
Inspector Bucket discovers a vital clue has been right under his nose, but will it bring him the satisfaction he desires? Surely even Compeyson can't talk himself out of the situation he finds himself in now. And an unexpected visitor gives Arthur hope.
Episode 10
Matthew Pocket begs Amelia to delay her wedding, but will she listen? At the Bumble's workhouse, it's inspection day, and after all their preparations surely nothing can go wrong?
