"The Book Group" is a dark comedy that follows an American and the dysfunctional book group she forms in Glasgow as a way to make friends.
Clare Pettengill arrives in Glasgow from Cincinnati and, in order to meet new, intellectually minded friends, establishes a book club whose members will discuss a new work each week.
