Chef's Night Off
Jamie kicks off the series by making a simple yet sophisticated meal for fellow chefs on a rare night off...before getting down to the more serious business of table football.
Hen Night
Jamie's sister is getting married, and in a rash moment, he has agreed to cook for the hen night. He races across town to Portobello Market to pick up vegetables from Barry's stall, but can't persuade Barry to help him out in the kitchen.
Babysitting
Uncle Alan is in town to go to a boat show, and he persuades Jamie to take the kids off his hands for the afternoon. Before they arrive, Jamie enjoys a cheese tasting and buying session with Patricia at her shop La Fromagerie.
The Band
It's a huge night for Jamie and his reunited band, the biggest gig in weeks after six months of rehearsing. He predicts they will all be pretty 'bevved' up by the time they eat and so a chilli-rich meal will be perfect.
Birthday Party
It's Jamie's 24th birthday and he's got plenty to celebrate. Although at their own parties Jamie's friends may only stretch to a few bowls of crisps they expect more from Jamie, so he sets to work on a big food feast.
Girlfriend
With working in the restaurant, band rehearsals, and all else, Jamie has devoted very little time to his girlfriend. Desperate to make amends, he rustles up a romantic lunch at home. Turning on the oven and the charm, Jamie whips up a delicious meal.
