Soul
Dave Myers and Si King explore the food and music of the American south, beginning with a trip to Memphis, Tennessee, where they try a soul stew and fried chicken.
Blues
Dave and Si continue their journey as they head to New Orleans, where they meet blues musician Little Freddie King and get to grips with some of the best local food, providing their own twist to a southern classic - po'boy, a traditional sandwich.
Rock and Roll
Dave and Si follow in the footsteps of music legends and try more Southern food, stopping at a classic diner to try Tennessee dishes. The duo then heads to Elvis Presley's Graceland mansion in Memphis to interview George Klein, the singer's friend.
Cajun
Si and Dave visit the hotbed of Cajun culture in Lafayette, Louisiana, where they sample crawfish and groove at a jam session.
Jazz
The duo return to New Orleans, where Simon King tries to convince Dave to enjoy jazz and cook classic local dishes, including jambalaya and gumbo.
Country
The duo takes the road to Nashville, Tennessee, where they learn about the roots of country music, cook biscuits and gravy, and visit the Grand Ole Opry stage.
