6/20/15: Scherzer nearly perfect, tosses no-no
6/20/15: Max Scherzer carried a perfect game into the 9th inning against the Pirates, but a hit-by-pitch cost him the chance at perfection. However, the Nationals ace just needed to get through one more batter to finish off his first career no-hitter.
Big Papi homers twice to reach 500
David Ortiz made baseball history when he went yard twice against Matt Moore and the Rays to reach the 500-homer club. Big Papi became just the second player to hit his 499th and 500th home run in the same game.
