Freeman gets 4 hits in 2020 home opener
Freddie Freeman starts off his 2020 home campaign with the Braves with a monster day at the plate. Freeman homers, collects four hits and drives in three to lead Atlanta over the Rays, 7-4.
Mookie makes history with 6th 3-HR game
Mookie Betts returned to the leadoff spot for the Dodgers and proceeded to hit three home runs against the Padres. In doing so, Betts tied Sammy Sosa and Johnny Mize as the only players in MLB history with six career three-homer games.
Tatis Jr. hits "controversial" slam
Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a laser of a three-run homer in the 7th inning, then followed that up with a grand slam on a 3-0 pitch in the 8th. The slam was the first of the young phenom's career and caused a bit of controversy in the process.
José Abreu homers three times vs. Cubs
José Abreu gave the White Sox a 3-2 lead against the Cubs with his first homer of the night. Abreu would go on to hit two more long balls later in the game to give him the first three-homer game of his career.
Lucas Giolito throws no-hitter vs. Bucs
After changing his delivery and rebuilding his mindset, Lucas Giolito bounced back from a horrid 2018 season to become one of baseball's most exciting pitchers. This resurgence culminated with his first no-hitter against the Pirates on August 25, 2020.

Gary, Yanks roar back for win at Fenway
The Yankees found themselves down 4-0 against the Red Sox. Gary Sanchez helped New York make an improbable comeback with a two-run double in the 7th and a game-tying homer in the 9th. Clutch at-bats in extras helped push the Yankees to a 9th straight win.
Braves blank Reds to reach 2020 NLDS
Ian Anderson struck out nine over six scoreless innings to help lead the Braves to a shutout victory over the Reds in a series-clinching victory.
Astros finish off sweep vs. Twins in '20 ALWS
Behind strong pitching from Jose Urquidy and Cristian Javier, the Astros picked up the 3-1 victory to upset the Twins in the 2020 Wild Card Series.
10/27/20: Dodgers win 1st championship in 32 years
