The City Kids
Oliver and Lisa play host to four children from the city, who find themselves in Hooterville as part of a rural exposure program. The kids learn how to milk the cow, pick vegetables, plant seeds, and share sleeping quarters with four-legged friends.

Enterprising Eb
Eb feels the time is right to settle down and marry Darlene. However, he has nowhere near the money it will take to make a down payment on a house. With the help of the Douglases, who have given him two acres of land, Eb applies for a loan.

Eb's Double Trouble
Lisa and Oliver try to sort out of the troubles of fools in love. The problems begin when Eb invites both his girlfriend and another young woman to the same dance, while Arnold the pig falls for not one, but two attractive bovines.

Little Lori Baker, who after coming to stay with the Douglases on a rural experience program, is staying on at the Douglas farm. This city girl, like Oliver, has found that she loves the country life! Lisa decides to throw Lori a welcome party.

The residents of Hooterville assume that Oliver Douglas must be broke when Lisa is spotted looking for work and standing in line at the soup kitchen. But assumptions in this town, even logical ones, are bound to be wrong.

Apple Picking Time

Oliver refuses to take Lisa to New York City to attend the wedding anniversary of an old friend. Meanwhile, Eb, always up to something, has a new invisible friend named Charlie. To get her way, Lisa introduces her own invisible friend... Natasha.

The Engagement Ring
Lisa gives the financially-challenged Eb her engagement ring to present to Darlene, his longtime sweetheart, so that he can pop the question. The ring is reportedly valued at $2,000, however, when Darlene's father has it appraised, it's a shocker.

While staying with the Douglases, Arnold the Pig witnesses a bank robbery when he goes with the Douglases on an errand in Pixley. When Lisa asks him to describe the two robbers, Arnold, reliving the moment, loses his voice from fear.

Oliver refuses to take Lisa to the annual Carpenter's Ball because he thinks the attendees are too eccentric for his liking. But Lisa has her own motives to attend. She is trying to get a romance sparked between two local singles.

Hawaiian Honeymoon
Aloha! The Douglases vacation in Hawaii. But the daughter of the hotel manager needs to keep secret that she double booked the honeymoon suite. The 'sweet' surprise? While Lisa and Oliver settle in, they are unaware that the other room is occupied.

The Ex-Secretary
Oliver's heirloom watch is broken so he tries to find his ex-secretary Carol's address to ask her the name of the jeweler who fixed it last time. Carol is now working and living in Los Angeles, and we get a glimpse into her new life.

When Oliver decides to attend night school and enrolls in a farming class, Lisa does the same, taking psychology. Before long, many of the residents of Hooterville are lining up for appointments with the eminent Dr. Lisa.
