Episode 1
Guy's adventure begins in the fastest growing city in the world - Chongqing, with a population of 30 million. Next is the world's biggest public convenience - The Porcelain Palace, then Shanghai where a shipping container leaves every two seconds.
Episode 2
Guy travels from Shanghai to Beijing on China's bullet train and trawls Beijing's back streets to find a "Flying Pigeon" – the most produced machine in the world for a high-speed pedal through one of the world's most congested cities.
Episode 3
This is Guy's toughest ever physical challenge. He wants to break the record for the fastest crossing of the Taklamakan Desert on a bicycle. Known as the 'desert of death', the local legend has it that once you enter the desert you never come out.
