A 12-year-old boy and his father move to a new town and find themselves having to navigate a fresh set of unwritten rules and relationships in the schoolyard and the world of small-town politics.
Feuds come to a head when the tape recorder holding evidence about the snack scam also holds damaging evidence about the Mayor, and it's present at a super-secret town hall meeting between the adults that the kids get caught sneaking into.
