The ultimate survival challenge returns as 16 brave souls are dropped on a remote island in the Pacific. Half the group are high earners, while the other half earn below the UK national average wage.
Episode 1
Bear Grylls returns to an uninhabited island in the Pacific to maroon twelve ordinary Brits for the hardest five weeks of their lives.
Episode 2
Four days in, and the newest batch of marooned Brits to brave the island are already struggling; There's money to be found, hidden in the jungle, but thanks to an insect infestation in camp, the group are busy battling sleep deprivation.
Episode 3
After two weeks, eleven islanders remain stranded 5,000 miles from home; a depleted water source forces the group to move from their original location to the north side of the island.
Episode 4
Three weeks in and the group has gone seven days without a proper meal; the group is falling apart and tensions around money continue to plague the camp.
Episode 5
After four gruelling weeks the end is in sight for the remaining Islanders, but £35,000 is still waiting to be found.
Episode 6
Thirty-five days later, Bear Grylls returns to pick up the eleven remaining islanders and find out what kept them going to the end and what effect the money had on their survival.
