Great Expectations
Joey makes an after-school study date with the new girl, Liz, who has a fast reputation. He prepares for the date by buying condoms, but discovers a different person than he expected.

Dinner and a Show
Spike and Shane's parents finally meet and all agree adoption is best for Spike's baby. Shane, however, has his own ideas. Meanwhile, Melanie breaks a date with Yick to go out with Snake, but her deception is discovered.

Stage Fright
Recently diagnosed as an epileptic, Caitlin is having a hard time accepting her condition. She convinces her mother to let her audition for the school play, but then nearly drops out - blaming her disease - when she doesn't get the part.

Fight!
When, in response to Joey's ridicule, Dwayne challenges him to a fight, Joey feels he has to go through with it. Meanwhile, Stephanie finally realizes, after weeks of flirtation, that Simon is interested in Alexa, not her.

Bottled Up
When the Degrassi Jr. High quiz team goes to Kathleen's house to prepare for a match, they discover that Kathleen's mother is an alcoholic. Rich and Caitlin offer Kathleen their support.

Sealed with a Kiss
Sick of being confused with her twin sister Heather, Erica is determined to define herself as an individual. She finds an opportunity at the Spring Dance, where she is found passionately kissing a strange boy!

Dog Days
As Stephanie's mother makes plans to remarry and her father continues to fight for custody of her and her brother, Stephanie becomes increasingly despondent. She even starts to talk about suicide.

Censored
A group of parents demands that Spike be moved to another school because her pregnancy sets a bad example. Some of the students agree, but Caitlin writes an article for the school newspaper supporting Spike.

Trust Me
When the school board votes to expel Spike from Degrassi, the students wonder why Spike is being kicked out. Meanwhile, disaster strikes when Joey and Wheels talk Snake into letting them spend the night when his parents are away.

He's Back
Though Lucy's friends have encouraged her to report her harassment by a substitute teacher, she is embarrassed by the incident. However, when the teacher returns to Degrassi and assaults another girl, she and Lucy decide to go to the principal.

Pass Tense
Wheels worries that he might not pass his final exams, while Joey discovers that he may have to repeat the year. The eighth graders' dreams of high school are crushed when they find out Degrassi plans to add a ninth grade.
