The Wild
Three families with past conflicts struggle for cohesive future, bound by a game lodge in the wild.
Episode 1
Dinaledi Lodge prepares for a banquet to celebrate the concession agreement but everyone's world is thrown into crisis when Tiro threatens to sell the land. Tristan convinces Tiro that illegal hunting is going on and that it is an inside job.
Episode 2
Tiro's decision to sell the land comes under pressure from both Itumeleng and his own family, and causes ructions amongst the van Reenen's. Lelo is fully expecting Modise to propose, but at the critical moment, nature gets in the way.
Episode 3
Bernie ventures into the bush with Karel and makes a meaningful connection. Khumo's dodgy life-style impacts on his family and Diksie takes a stand. Itumeleng makes a deal with Tiro to guarantee that he signs the concession agreement.
Episode 4
The initial spark between Tiro and Lelo grows into an increasing fascination with each other - a fascination which raises eyebrows amongst the guests at the banquet and causes Itumeleng to over-react and get into a fight with Tiro.
Episode 5
The pressure is building on Tristan from both Karel and Kate to ease off on his investigation of the illegal hunting. Under interrogation from Zoe, Lelo finally admits she couldn't say yes, to Modise's proposal because she thinks she's met someone else.
Episode 6
Tristan ploughs on with his investigation, and chooses to confront Itumeleng with the evidence of the dead rhino. Lelo attempts to convince herself that Modise is really the man for her.
Episode 7
Tiro arrives at the Chic Young Designer Awards and Zoe has to run interference. When his guests get out of control, Isaac breaks the ranger code but holds onto his personal code. Bernie steps into the danger zone when she finds the rhino horn.
Episode 8
Isaac takes on orientation and impresses everyone except Jack. Lelo decides that she wants to marry Modise, but that changes when she gets an unexpected visitor. Tristan liberates himself from the pressure of having to find who killed the rhino.
Episode 9
A hunting party arrives and Jack is tempted to offer them an illegal kill, Modise wants an answer from Lelo. Tristan increases the pressure on Jack while Amber plans a surprise birthday party for Kate.
Episode 10
Kate is drawn into the hunt by Jack, much to Tristan's annoyance, and Jack shifts his focus, to Kate. Tiro can't get Lelo out of his mind, until Marang drops a bomb in his lap.
Episode 11
Jack begins to fear that Bernie could be in real danger from Itumeleng. Jack begins to insinuate his way between Tristan and Kate, which infuriates Tristan.
Episode 12
Jack cannot help himself: he offers the hunters an illegal Kudu bull. Bernie finally discovers what Itumeleng wants, and realises she wants the same thing. Lelo has made up her mind, and tells Modise her decision.
Episode 13
Lelo barely has time to catch her breath after getting engaged when Itumeleng sets about planning the wedding. Sarah warns Kate against telling Tristan about Jack's kiss.
Episode 14
Jack negotiates his way out of a dangerous situation while Kate gets an unexpected offer from Itumeleng. Modise and Lelo stand up for themselves but can't help offending those who want to play a part in their wedding.
Episode 15
Tristan reveals to Kate the promise of a new dream that she doesn't completely share. Lelo turns Modise around on their marriage plans. Giovanna's theatricality causes more trouble for Isaac with Jack.
Episode 16
With pressure mounting on the engaged couple, Lelo admits that she hasn't been open with her family about Modise and then lies to herself about Tiro. Tristan invigorates his passion for the white lion project and puts aside his tensions with Karel.
Episode 17
Diksie, seeing more sparks between Itumeleng and Bernie, believes there's a hot attraction between them. In the midst of Tristan's passion for his white lion project Kate reveals her real fears to Sarah.
Episode 18
The lack of privacy at the lodge corners Itumeleng into telling Bernie they can't be together, but Bernie has other ideas. After taking out his frustration on the camera trap, Jack uses it as a gauntlet to lay down another challenge to Tristan.
Episode 19
Head ranger Jack stays one step ahead of nemesis Tristan, while Lelo debates whether to attend Tiro's dinner party and the White Lion Project hits a few road bumps because of Karel's cold feet.
Episode 20
Tension mounts for the Lebone family as the night of Tiro's party arrives and Tiro has to deal with seeing Lelo on Modise's arm as his fiance. Isaac discovers that Jack and Giovanna's encounter was much more innocent than Jack makes out.
Episode 21
Tristan realises he has to tell Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project. After avoiding the issue with Marang, Tiro tries to make contact with Lelo.
Episode 22
Tristan tells Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project, and gets an unexpected response. Tiro makes contact with Lelo and tells her he is not giving up on her.
Episode 23
With an important event being hosted at the lodge - and a difficult critic - people are tense. When Nick leaves the lodge in the lurch, Bernie has an opportunity to step in and shine.
Episode 24
Marang shares the secret of her divorce with Hope. Kate realises that balancing her newly revived career with her marriage to Tristan is going to be far from easy, and Bernie fights to claim the top spot in the lodge's kitchen.
Episode 25
Karel and Tristan form an uneasy alliance, but Kate is feeling increasingly offended by Tristan's lack of understanding. Marang is propelled by Hope's predicament and gets a break when Mama Rose suggests a possible course of action.
Episode 26
Marang gets served divorce papers and shares with Hope why she is the defendant. Tristan and Kate keep missing each other and their conflict threatens to boil over.
Episode 27
The tension between Tristan and Kate increases, and Amber starts to feel the effects of the worsening domestic situation. Itumeleng overrides Khumo's appointment process and appoints Bernie as Head Chef.
Episode 28
Kate is stuck in the middle of nowhere, and her attempts to connect with Tristan fail. Tristan finally learns something has happened, and the race is on to rescue Kate.
Episode 29
Tristan and Jack both race to save Kate, but only one will get there on time. Bernie can't contain her jealousy when an old flame of Itumeleng's arrives. Itumeleng confronts Lelo about Tiro.
Episode 30
Lelo is pushed to an extreme decision about her relationship with Modise. Marang makes an astonishing confession to her family. Kate finally tells Tristan the truth about what she is feeling.
