Three families with past conflicts struggle for cohesive future, bound by a game lodge in the wild.
Episode 1
Itumeleng forces Modise to make a decision about Lelo, then fights his urge to be a part of whatever Ayanda is putting together. The Lebone's rally around Marang, and she finds the courage to challenge Zweli's demands in the divorce hearing.
Episode 2
As the staff gossip about the big break up, Modise appears to be falling apart, but his binge causes him to finally stand up to Itumeleng. Tristan warns Kate of Itumeleng and Jack. Zoe cannot comfort Lelo, who is at her lowest.
Episode 3
Modise, meanwhile, tries to figure out whether Lelo is right for him. Itumeleng undermines Jack and it seems that tension between the two could be dangerous for both.
Episode 4
Tiro encourages his sister to fight for her kids, while he continues to fight for Lelo. Bernie and Itumeleng reach a stalemate in their relationship due to the cunning and enigmatic presence of Ayanda. Modise and Lelo make a very tough decision.
Episode 5
Itumeleng is still resisting Ayanda's attempts to seduce him - both professionally and personally. She turns up the heat by forcing a confrontation Itumeleng is sure to hate.
Episode 6
Ayanda oversteps the mark and Itumeleng realises it is time for her to go. Zoe and Modise try to make sense of their gigantic mistake and Lelo has shocking news for Modise.
Episode 7
Itumeleng and Dinaledi Lodge face a staffing crisis after a bridge is closed. Lelo and Tiro decide to take things to the next level, while Modise comes to terms with the breakup. Kate has a crisis of faith.
Episode 8
The Dinaledi staff are becoming tired and overworked and Khumo's attempts to keep everything running smoothly puts him in conflict with Mama Rose.
Episode 9
Tiro's unwavering in his love for Lelo, even against Marang's vehement opposition. Kate butts heads with Tristan when he finds out that she is not proud of her family and who she has become.
Episode 10
Lelo arrives at the Lebone house to spend the day, but it is quickly apparent that Marang is not happy about it. During an outing with a few of her friends, Kate realises that Karel understands her situation. But will she make peace with her place?
Episode 11
Dinaledi lodge is still not running at full tilt, and with a demanding VIP guest on the books Khumo and Itumeleng have their hands full. Marang starts to see the fallout of her pending divorce first hand when her son gets in trouble.
Episode 12
Jack and Isaac experience the beginnings of an unlikely, but mutual understanding and respect as they prepare for a hunt. Marang makes little progress with her son, and has to entrust him to an unlikely person - Khumo.
Episode 13
Jack finally spots leopard tracks, but he has to deal with Isaac's suspicions about the legitimacy of the leopard hunt. Khumo brings in an old acquaintance to entertain DeSantos, and she puts a strain on his marriage.
Episode 14
DeSantos gets his prize but Isaac learns that hunting at Dinaledi is far more complicated than it seems. Tuelo finally confronts Marang about her divorce.
Episode 15
Isaac finds himself conflicted by the illegal hunting of a female leopard. Marang gets advice from Itumeleng that helps her restore her relationship with Tuelo. But then he destroys it all again. Khumo and Diksie's marriage hits an even bigger snag.
Episode 16
Isaac sinks deeper and deeper into the lies that bind him, Itumeleng and Jack, and his life is forever changed. No matter how much Itumeleng resists, Ayanda is determined to bring him to his knees.
Episode 17
Kate's friend Nina comes to visit the Van Reenen's and Kate realises that she's happy with her life. Lelo and Zoe's friendship continues to unravel, due to Zoe's one night stand with Modise.
Episode 18
After the failed pitch to Rratladi, Ayanda feels Itumeleng has betrayed her chances of grabbing the tender for the bridge, so she gets revenge via Modise. Kate learns exactly what Nina has planned for her, and she is stunned.
Episode 19
The Tladi Brothers almost go to war over an increasingly manipulative Ayanda. Kate finds it hard to tell her husband that she wants to go, while Tristan finds it even harder to let her go.
Episode 20
Modise plays along with Ayanda's games to collect info for Itumeleng. Marang makes Lelo's life hell which Tiro counters by offering Marang a job. Tristan's attitude drives Nina away, and Kate decides to follow her.
Episode 21
Khumo and Diksie restore the German couple's faith in love and marriage, learning a lesson about their own relationship along the way. Amber tries to fill her mother's shoes and proves to Tristan that they can cope on their own.
Episode 22
Lelo still feels like an outsider in the Lebone family and this isolation is only made worse when Marang's divorce comes through and everyone rallies around her.
Episode 23
Kate struggles to reconcile her dreams with the pressure of her big news. Khumo is so wrapped up in lodge business that he cannot see that Diksie has other things on her mind that she needs to discuss with him.
Episode 24
Kate tries to come to terms with everything, and Tristan tells Blessing his big news. Lelo and Zoe are pitted against one another in a battle for a promotion. Diksie and Khumo must put their marital problems aside in order to identify a respected critic.
Episode 25
A possible promotion at Chic magazine threatens Zoe and Lelo's already fragile relationship. Khumo and the lodge staff continue to hunt for the mysterious and elusive lodge reviewer. And Kate grows more and more ambivalent much to the delight of Jack.
Episode 26
Lelo learns something about herself at work and she and Tiro finally consummate their relationship. Kate's big secret is a secret no more, and she melts with uncertainty during a celebration.
Episode 27
Tiro persuades Lelo to forgive Zoe and not take the job, however she just can't seem to back down. Tristan tries to get the truth out of Kate about how she really feels, however when she finally tells him, it's not what he wants to hear.
Episode 28
A visit from Kate's friend Nina serves to highlight Kate's mixed feelings about her pregnancy, causing a wide rift between Kate and Tristan.
Episode 29
Kate won't let go of her dream to go to the design course, thus deepening tensions with Tristan. In ‘winning’ the promotion at Chic, Lelo considers quitting and is seduced by Tiro's offer to buy her her own magazine.
Episode 30
Lelo's new promotion doesn't go as well as she thought. Unable to resolve his conflict with Isaac, Jack takes him out in the bush for a little unofficial discipline. Amber begins 'acting out' and things finally come to a head when Kate makes her decision.
