On the run from their past, Danny and Evelyn Brogan move their family to Meadowlands, a 21st century 'surburban paradise'. Crime-free, Meadowlands appears to be a town where all is safe.
Danny has to get Mark to help him cover up Jack’s murder, but local policeman Wintersgill soon smells a rat. His investigations lead him towards the Brogans but they manage to stay one step ahead.
