African Plains,

Survivorman Les Stroud arrives in South Africa via hot air balloon, and must immediately contend with potential danger from lions, hippos, water buffalo and the deadly black mamba.

As Stroud enters an ocean bay called "Taroka Arm" by sea kayak, there's only about four hours of twilight per day and he knows that Mother Nature is going to wreak havoc upon his internal clock.

After brushing up on wilderness and hunting tactics from the skilled Waorani tribe, Les will have to survive on next to nothing while capturing it all with the camera equipment he lugs around.

Les has his work cut out for him surviving in the scorching red sands of the Kalahari Desert. With only enough water for four days, Les mimics the Bushmen and sits still in the shade during daylight.

Dog sledding is the way Les will get around the freezing north. Even though he brought along a survival kit, he is still without the crucial essentials needed to survive Labrador in the winter.

Cook Islands, South Pacific,

Les, equipped with only his scuba gear, is abandoned by his crew at sea to recreate a frightfully common occurrence; separated from your boat and left alone in the ocean waters.

Les shows us how he prepares himself both mentally and physically for surviving in such harsh climates.

Sierra Nevada Search and Rescue,

Les finds himself in the predicament of a lost hiker. Travelling with a typical "day hiker" pack – only provisions for an overnight stay – Les needs to make the most of what he's brought with him.

Colorado Rockies,

Out for a casual day's ride, Les (and horses) have to survive temperatures that vary from 70°F in the day to snow flurries at night.

In the land of the midnight sun, Survivorman heads in to 72°.46 N – the northern tip of Baffin Island. On-route the boats are surrounded by a pod of orca.

Survival Challenge,

Les takes a group of NHL hockey players out to the wilderness to see if they have what it takes to survive.

Fighting To Survive,

Les Stroud, TV's Survivorman, will teach Elias the ways of survival. However, he won't teach him everything he needs to know.
