As the teachers return from summer break, Ms. Watson tries an ultra premium online dating service and Ms. Snap learns that she's been given the worst group of kids in school. Mrs. Adler is assigned to a mobile classroom.

There's a trespasser at Fillmore and a new security guard is hired. Ms. Snap and Ms. Bennigan hold a "Women Empowering Women" workshop, Mrs. Adler takes stranger danger too far, and Ms. Watson purchases a male safety dummy.

When a tornado touches down near Fillmore, procedures go out the window as the teachers panic. Horrified by their negligence, Principal Pearson puts the teachers on probation until they complete a team-building course.

Mrs. Adler and her husband move into a tiny house. When Ms. Cannon's homemade jewelry shop fails, Ms. Watson and Ms. Snap try to boost her morale. Ms. Feldman fakes a lesson and Ms. Bennigan struggles with a student.
