The 10 recruits take a trip to Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse. In their first "skill drill," they must learn to execute five fundamental knife cuts. Then each chef teaches their team a teppanyaki-style dish.

The recruits must create a dish that contains their least favorite ingredient. Later, the chefs must spatchcock a Cornish game hen and put a twist on a side dish.

Facing Your Fears

The final four recruits step into their mentors' shoes and directthem in the kitchen. Anne and Rachael bring in VIP guests to judge which recruits will move on to the finale.

The Reason You're Here

The final two recruits must prepare a refined three-course meal under the guidance of Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray. The culinary experts pick a winner with a blind test, and the winning recruit walks away with $25,000.

A Fine Finale

Some of the country's worst home cooks compete in this elimination series. The last two standing have the chance to cook for culinary critics and win a cash prize.
