Unlike previous underwater documentaries this expedition opens a new gateway to "the realm of depth": The famous underwater cameraman Christian Petron accompanies the former world champion in freediving, Frederic Buyle, with its exciting diving without breathing apparatus. Freedivers are "water people" who move silently and elegantly underwater. Frederic Buyle emerges without air tanks to depths of over 50 meters and stays there for several minutes. He uses his impressive skills to the "soft inquiry" of marine animals and their behavior. His ability allows him to approach the inhabitants of the ocean, without disturbing it - unlike normal divers whose diving equipment causing loud breathing noises and clouds of bubbles. The team also waived the usual "bait" or lures to observe only realistic and lifelike behavior of animals. In his dives Frederic receives exclusive recordings from the natural behavior of wild animals. In his collaboration with scientists creating new reliable portraits of many already known species. Christian Petron documented with masterful and extraordinary images marked by respect and honor these encounters between humans and marine life.
